Lighting Components Metal Stampings

LED and commercial lighting manufacturers need stamped terminals, housings and mounting plates with consistent quality. ISTAMPING produces lighting components metal stampings on high-speed presses, with managed plating for corrosion resistance and conductivity in demanding lighting applications.

  • High-speed production keeps lighting component costs competitive
  • Managed plating for corrosion resistance and conductivity
  • Precision forming for tight assembly tolerances
  • Thermal-aware material selection for LED applications

Thermal and Conductive Stamping for LED Lighting

LED fixtures live and die by heat and current path management, and the stamped metal parts inside carry both jobs. Our precision stamping produces aluminum and copper heatsinks with fin geometries that maximize surface area, terminals and lamp holder contacts with stable electrical conductivity, and reflector surfaces finished for high reflectivity that keeps lumen output where it belongs. Running on Aida high-speed presses up to 300 SPM with ±0.005 mm positioning, we hold identical dimensional and electrical performance across millions of parts, so thermal and optical behavior stays consistent from the first sample to full production.

  • Aluminum and copper heatsink stampings with fin geometries engineered for maximum thermal surface area
  • Reflector and trim stampings with controlled surface finish for high reflectivity and lumen efficiency
  • Precision-formed terminals and lamp holder contacts for stable electrical conductivity and secure connections
  • Aida high-speed presses up to 300 SPM, ±0.005 mm positioning, and roll-to-roll selective plating deliver consistent quality at high volume

Thermal, Corrosion and Contact Resistance: Lighting Materials That Decide Lifetime

A luminaire is rated for tens of thousands of hours, and its stamped parts decide whether the driver survives that long. Heat paths use A1050 and A6061 aluminum brackets and core plates - stamped with formed fins or flat thermal faces that keep the junction temperature honest. Terminals run brass C26000 or phosphor bronze C5191 with tin plating in the 5-12 micron band, because an unplated brass terminal oxidizes and the voltage drop shows up as flicker years into service. Mounting plates and driver housings use SECC electro-galvanized steel for indoor fixtures and SGCC hot-dip for outdoor and high-humidity roles - the coating weight, not the steel, is what stops edge creep at bend lines. EMI shields for LED drivers are stamped and formed from nickel-silver or tinned steel with defined contact pitch.

  • A1050/A6061 aluminum for heat-dissipating brackets and plates
  • Brass and phosphor bronze terminals with tin plating 5-12 micron
  • SECC indoor vs SGCC outdoor decision on bend-edge protection
  • Stamped EMI shields and driver housings with formed finger contacts
