Stainless Steel Materials
Stainless steel combines corrosion resistance, hygiene and strength, which is why stainless metal stamping is the default choice for spring contacts, EMI shields, housings and medical components that must survive demanding environments without finishing. Each grade serves a different job: SUS301 work-hardens into a high-elasticity spring material, SUS304 is the general-purpose structural grade, SUS316L handles medical and aggressive-corrosion duty, and SUS430 adds magnetic response at lower cost.
ISTAMPING stamps stainless on 25-110 ton presses with 0.005 mm positioning accuracy and burr heights held under 0.05 mm. For spring clips and contacts we exploit the work-hardening of cold-rolled SUS301; for enclosures and shields we form SUS304 and SUS430 with minimum bend radii of R≥1.0t and punch-to-thickness ratios down to 0.6t. Post-stamp passivation is managed through approved partner lines with salt-spray verification, so parts leave clean, corrosion-tested and ready for assembly.
